Our Mission

The New York Dragon Boat Alliance (NYDBA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering community, cultural appreciation, and athletic excellence through the vibrant sport of dragon boat racing. Rooted in the rich traditions of this ancient practice, we aim to unite diverse individuals across the city—promoting mutual respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through training, competition, and community engagement, we strive to inspire a sense of belonging, celebrate multicultural diversity, and create a lasting impact on the health and spirit of New Yorkers.
